Not a fan of "The Chosen" because of the excess and annoying (to me) creative license they take with the biblical text (Not saying no one should watch it, it'd just not for me. YMMV). This seem like it might be more of the same.
There was already a TV movie of the story of Joseph made back in 1995 called "Joseph" which was produced by Turner Broadcasting with Ben Kingsley (as Potiphar) and Martin Landau (as Jacob) that is surprisingly true to the biblical narrative and extremely well done. If you can get ahold of a copy of that, I HIGHLY recommend it. It is available on YouTube.

The Story Of Jacob And Joseph This is the video I kind of remember about Joseph. It is from 1974. I checked my DVDs. I have a copy, still in it's wrapper.
