‘In the 1996 February New Hampshire primary, Buchanan defeated front-runner Bob Dole by about 3,000 votes.’

This is amazing. Buchanan could well have been president or at least come close šŸ˜‚

He built a real movement and won New Hampshire!

To: RandFan; anyone

Instead the Republican Party choose who would now be considered the neocon candidate.

And Clinton won and the country entered the slow slide to the left, offshoring industry and opening its borders… not changed until 2016.

although I will add Ross Perot very likely gave Clinton the ā€œWā€. I wonder if Perot would have ran if Buchanan got the nominationšŸ¤”.

Pat Buchanan was probably our last chance to easily remain a traditional USA, Trump is trying to correct course but it’s no longer a simple matter as the deep state seems everywhere now.

PS
I asked GROK and he said Perot likely would NOT have ran if Buchanan got the NOM. Pat had trade and economic policies closer to Perot, Grok said. So my guess is Pat would have won.
