So then...earth is a cosmic “the Truman show” where far more advanced civilizations tune in for the comedic antics of those wild and crazy earth creatures and any civilization that interfered with the show would be ostracized by everyone everywhere. Makes more sense than a lot of other theories I’ve read lately.

I don’t think they could see us once our RF racket reaches the, either. Due to that Inverse Square Law, the probability of picking up a coherent signal rather than a stray photon from time to time would be low.

Cousin was assigned to San Diego and his mother came out to visit. To impress her, he took her to the famed San Diego Zoo.

After touring it, he asked how she thought it compared to the zoo near her in South Louisiana. She said San Diego had more animals, but the big difference was that, where the San Diego Zoo had placards by the animals showing their Latin name and home territory, the Louisiana zoo also gave a recipe for each of them.

I tend to think Hawking was a scam.

Methinks that is Dean Jones (?), not Richard Chamberlain (“Dr Kildare”).

Actually, that looks like Pierce Brosnan, not Dean Jones.

They did look somewhat similar, now that you mention it.
Dean Jones (”That Darn Cat!! / The Love Bug”) could have been Richard Chamberlain’s (Dr. Kildare / The Thornbirds)
goofy, kooky brother.

Seems to me Hubble and JWST can scope out ‘the object’ as it approaches our solar system to determine if it is ET or just some random object.

If aliens had ill intent, they could have wasted us decades ago.
