I will proffer a harsh truth to you: the best outcome in Ukraine would be for Russia to win the war as expeditiously as possible, neutralize and disarm the place, change-out its illegitimate government, and let it revert to being the frontier backwater it was for eight decades previous, when it was not a problem for the other nations of the region.

Mr. Putin has put up with our country’s psychotic nonsense with remarkable patience. The idea that he seeks to conquer western Europe was a preposterous confection of the neocon crazies in our State Department and Intel “community.”

I am in total agreement. [Applause!]

Actually, not such a preposterous confection. Apparently our State Dept. and Intel folks had read the book by Alexandr Dugin, a so-called philosopher, published in 1997. In it he describes exactly what Russia should do conquer western Europe, and also to control most of the world. By 2014 he was being called “Putin’s Brain.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics

The above link summarizes in frightening detail, with over 20 bullet points, exactly what steps need to be taken for Russia to take over Western Europe and control the rest of the world. The bullet point for the Americas is especially chilling, as you can see how Russia is urged to use it’s Special Services to disrupt the US and Canada.

“In the Americas
In the Americas, United States, and Canada:

* Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists” to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present-day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social, and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”.[9]
* The Eurasian Project[clarification needed] could be expanded to Central and South America.[9]”

I don’t know how much of the racial strife and public violence we have seen in recent decades was caused by Russian “Special Forces”, but is by no means “psychotic nonsense” for our government agencies to be looking into that possibility.

I don’t know when Putin started listening to Dugin’s advice, but in culling articles from my old newspapers collection from the 2003+ period of the Bush2 Iraq war, I have found several articles about Putin. These indicate that Putin was shifting from his earlier period of seeking potential cooperation with the west. Was this the Republican’s fault, rather than that of Democrats, or did Putin always have big ambitions, only magnified by advice from Alexandr Dugin? I have a collection of old papers from before and after the 9/11 attack. When I cull that material for my research files, I will be watching for the earlier Putin articles that my provide an answer to the question of Putin’s shifting thinking, and Dugin’s potential influence. Since the Putin’s “war” in Ukraine was officially started in Feb. 2022 (actually it began in 2014 with the seizure of Crimea) Dugin has given Putin a number of ideas to be implemented for the betterment of Russia and war success.

They range from reasonable ones like controlling heavy drinking in Russia to the Nazi inspired plan Putin has agreed to implement this September. With this plan a group of women will be chosen to be impregnated by chosen politicians and war heroes to grow children to be owned by the State and used for future warfare. Now that is long range planning, these children won’t even be available for 2 decades, unless the style of African would be dictators is used of deploying child warriors to do their killing. At any rate the Russian State will control the breeding and education of these innocent babies to kill for Putin and Russia. And Putin says he is a Christian???

Another Dugin brainstorm is to remove all foreign words that have been adopted into the Russian language. We would allow some German words, as “you cannot discuss philosophy without the German language”. He certainly has picked up a lot of Nazi philosophy and turned it over to Putin to use for Russia. By all means read the above link, and then hopefully Dugin’s actual book. Imagine what different decisions might have been made if more people in the 1930s had read Hitler’s personal opus “Mein Kampf (My Struggle)”? Would WW2 have been prevented and millions of lives saved? With Putin’s current aggression, we are at a turned point. I pray to God our leaders don’t make a wrong choice.
