Putin had better tell Medvedev to zip it. Trump is not being intimidated.

I sure as hell don’t want to see a nuclear war. There is too much at stake, that punk Zelenskyy and the bully Putin are trying to drag us in. I say “Zelenskyy and Europe, you’re on your own. This isn’t our fight”.

Submitting to Russia and retreating from Europe in the face of attacking Russian and North Korean armies battling in this massive war, is not the road to peace.

Numbers:

Russia has a few hundred more strategic nuclear warheads deployed than the US. The US deploys 80% of its warheads on submarines and Russia deploys about 60% of its warheads on submarines.

Minimum sea distance from a body of water that could support submarine dives to Moscow . . . hundreds of miles from Gulf of Finland or the Baltic sea.

Minimum sea distance from a body of water that could support submarine dives to Washington DC. Maybe 100 miles, offshore Maryland inbound.

And worst of all, typical Russian warheads have a great deal more yield than US warheads.

Make no mistake here, Russian strategic weapon arsenal is fundamentally superior to that of the US. The US had to move warheads to submarines because the NoDak, Montana and Colorado silos are simply too close to Russian subs. In contrast, Russian ICBMs are mobile and can start moving when US launch is detected. US yields being lower, they can escape the blast area of the aim point of where they were, not are.

Russia will not attack, even with these advantages. They don’t want millions killed by the warheads that arrive. But understand the numbers. Their strategic forces are greater than that of the US.

The greatest overall danger? A launch from a UK submarine. This would end the UK and force a Trump response.
