What kind of shape is Cassidy in? He has name recognition I suppose but a record of going against Trump and may face credible challengers...

I live in SC and I was listening to a conservative talk show host here and he says he is NOT voting for Lindsey Graham. The problem is that Trump is going to back him even though Lindsey has stabbed him in the back multiple times.

I hope that a true conservative can oust Graham next year in the primary.

despite his vote to convict Trump in his 2021 impeachment trial.

Having public differences with Trump on Ukraine or the budget is one thing - but this is beyond the pale.

To have given any kind of support, much less direct assent, to that dangerous, anti-Constitutional, fraud of impeachment is absolutely unforgivable.

Agree but unless someone top tier runs - and that is not likely - Graham will be re-elected

His previous opponents have been state senators and such . No chance.

Is there nobody else ?

Cassidy should bow out. Every Republican who cast an impeachment vote to oust President Trump should be hiding under a rock, not running for office.

Always follow Ronald Reagan’s advice. Vote for the republican who is most likely defeat the democrat opponent. Otherwise you just helped democrat get elected who will fiercely oppose whatever your agenda is.

“… absolutely unforgivable.”

Ditto - I’d even hazard to question his judgement as a physician that could look at the set of symptoms of TDS among Trump’s detractors & not arrive at a better differential diagnosis that time has now proven correct. He needs to be returned to his highest & best medical use as a chancre mechanic at the maximum security prison in LA.

Pres Trump is a lame duck, and will be gone in 3.5 years (if not less, thanks to the psychotic Left). Adherence to his ideas and ideals are what is important - Less government, less spending, less power in DC, more focus on America first and Americans first. I could care les how they feel about the man himself.

“despite his vote to convict Trump in his 2021 impeachment trial.”

Political death, especially now that we know more of the facts.

With that vote for impeachment he earned a Lifetime Disqualification.

Cassidy kept meeting with Biden and then lobbied Congress to give Biden victories.

Cassidy helped push thru Trillions in Woke spending that financed Dems for a decade.

I’m on the board of a chamber of commerce. His staff is calling around begging to be invited to events. He is a dead man walking. BUT.... never underestimate the ability of the voters to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I don’t think he’s gonna make it Jim.

Reagan lived in a different era. RINOs are enemy #1.

"..but this is beyond the pale"

It is. I've noticed that doctors (and PhDs) are usually very smart and good at what they do but they are mostly one-trick ponies. As I've seen with others like him, Cassidy can't seem to see or decide for himself what he isn't told which explains his impeachment decision.

I do not live in SC... but there is NO WAY I would ever vote for the fag Linda Graham... He is a sick pup that uses US tax payer dollars to travel the world pimping for war ... Time for SC to send this punk out to the sea.
