Gun Grabber Ghouls Feed on Fear

Leftists exploiting other people's pain for their political gain only works for certain tragedies.

You've seen it happen hundreds of times: when a tragedy strikes somewhere, and if it fits the profile, the ghouls of the gun grabber lobby jump on it faster than Hunter Biden on crack. Along with the propaganda media, they go into overdrive with wall-to-wall coverage to squeeze as much emotional mileage out of the situation as possible, always exploiting other people's pain for their political gain. Except that only certain tragedies will do, because when you traffic in fear, logic and common sense are nowhere to be found.

The latest example of this phenomenon occurred in a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, where a 42-year-old man, acting alone, attacked people with a folding knife, wounding 11 people on Saturday.

Pro-freedom patriots quickly predicted that this story wouldn't last more than a day and that it was likely that the propaganda media would bury the fact that 'a good guy with a gun stopped it.' As Colion Noir notes, the media is working hard to keep that a secret.

The Fear Flow Chart

You can just imagine the reaction amongst the gun-grabbers as news of this tragedy came in over the wires. While they secretly salivated at the prospect of using this to their advantage as always, the news quickly turned dark -- at least for them.

Problem one for the gun-grabbers was that only a knife was used. While this is always a concern for normal people, it's not for those hyper-focused on civilian disarmament. Sure, they've tried the absurd idea of 'knife control' in the UK, even though most rational people know that inmates in every prison can arm themselves with 'shivs' made of any material that will hold an edge.

The propaganda content in some of these stories is pretty amazing. It is about time that they reuse the “chainsaw bayonet” story.

That idiot mayor in NYC almost immediately blamed “lax” gun laws in Nevada for that psycho killing 4 people in ny.

As usual, when it comes to firearms (and most other things for that matter) democrats have it ass backwards.

Because of all the unconstitutional gun restrictions, NYC and all of NY really are now one big gun free zone.

Nuts or not, these mass shooters would think twice if they knew many if not most of the people they were planning to shoot were also armed.

We who have watched gun control ghouls since the early 1960s know this real well.
is worse than that.
The lies we have been told over the years...
1962 We ONLY want to register handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1964, We ONLY want to register ALL firearms, not ban them.
1968 We ONLY want to register all guns, and ban the import of foreign Saturday Night Specials, and 5-shot bolt action army surplus rifles! (they got the ban).
1970, We ONLY want to ban small American handguns. Rifles will not be affected!
1976 We ONLY want to ban ALL handguns! Rifles will not be affected!
1981, Actress Lee Grant on Good Morning America (ABC) screams...”THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”
1984, they came for the rifles.
1988,Josh Sugarmann, of the National Council to Ban Handguns tells how to ban rifles.

“Assault weapons’ menacing looks, coupled with the public’s confusion over
fully-automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons
—anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine
gun— can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on
these weapons.”
– Josh Sugarmann
Gun owners now know that any time we negotiate with those who want to ban guns, we are up against a stacked deck.
