St. Thomas Aquinas has already addressed this in his treatise on law, which is found in his Summa Theologica. As a Catholic one has to be careful not to continue to observe Jewish ceremonial rites, since Jesus Christ established a New Covenant, through His seven Sacraments.
I would suggest reading the treatise on law, where Aquinas gets into the details of what is passe and what remains.
“St. Thomas Aquinas has already addressed this in his treatise on law, which is found in his Summa Theologica. As a Catholic one has to be careful not to continue to observe Jewish ceremonial rites, since Jesus Christ established a New Covenant, through His seven Sacraments.”
Thomas Aquinas was mainly interested in stamping out Jews and Judaism. He also opined:
Jews should be forced to wear special clothing, like arm bands.
They should not be allowed to employ gentiles.
They should not be allowed to hold positions in government.
They should have special taxes imposed.
They should be segregated into ghettos and not live among gentiles.
He considered all Jews morally repugnant and responsible for the death of Christ.
Etc.
His theological conclusions should be taken with a grain of salt, given his hatred.
