The results of a recent poll were posted here on FR within the last few weeks showing the vast majority of Democrats (IIRC, around 80%) still believe Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 election from Hillary. Disturbingly, the same poll showed nearly half of self-described independents believed the same.

The Russia! Russia! Russia! lie was repeated so loudly and so often that it has become "fact" in the minds of many Americans.

Many of my Democrat ex-friends still believe Trump is a Russian asset, closet KKK member, and a pedophone who raped his own daughter. Some have whispered that all the women in his administration must prove their loyalty by sleeping with him! I have tried to tell them—IF Putin wanted him to win, he would have spilled what he knew about Hillary to him. They rather believe the lie rather than see the truth. I live in deep blue coastal California—and I have lost big for my support of President Trump. Besides that—I still think Trump is the greatest president in the Decade.
