They also like to use the elections in New Jersey and Virginia as some bellwether of future election results.

New Jersey and Virginia hold state elections exactly a year after a presidential election, and exactly a year before the midterm elections.

I don’t know if there’s any particular track record from those two states elections, but have already heard political pundits and prognosticators talking about the GOP chances in those two states this year.

Virginia is a lost cause thanks to our candidate, so don’t believe the media when they blame it on Trump. As to NJ, not sure either way.

New Jersey has been solid Democrat for some time.

Virginia leans Democrat now, but for a long time, they just voted the other party from the party of the president elected the year before.

2021: Youngkin won in Virginia and the Republican lost by a razor thin margin no one saw coming...

Twelves months later Republicans were supposed to wipe out the rats- in part due the VA & NJ results- they did anything but...

There were several special elections in the lead up to last November the rats won and the media claimed the GOP was in trouble in November, 2024- they were anything but...

It’s NJ and VA…best GOP can hope for is close race in VA and somewhat close race in NJ.
