Sure is, lol.

Also a Syrian lurking by the back door. Probably planning a knife rampage but got spooked by that V8.

I prefer my dad’s 1970 Eldorado. 500ci/425hp sitting on top of the front wheel drive. Nothing could beat it off the line on the boulevard scene.

A sad horsepower figure considering the displacement. OTOH, it still would’ve had stump-pulling torque, so it would get up and move around town pretty nicely.

Maybe in the olden days, but a stock Honda Accord would smoke it today.

Probably though it was a wheeled aircraft carrier

“It looked like the first test was for front wheel drive.”

Turn up the volume.

I worked for a SHORT time for a woman that was in charge of a non-profit. She was 100% nutty!

She had me drive her around in her Lincoln Town Car (what a BOAT!) while she ‘worked on things’ on her laptop in the back seat. She couldn’t get ‘anything done’ if she was in the office.

I think she was secretly drinking back there!

They used to have that here, but guess they finally decided it just wasn’t worth it; didn’t serve the stated purpose to any extent. I was glad they did that as the place I worked was an in inspection station. It just seemed like the system caused more trouble than it was worth. Yes, there are probably a few junkers running around that shouldn’t be allowed on the road. As I recall, we were the possible cause of too many problems in comparison to any actual good it did. I don’t know how many states still have them, but from what I saw in that certain time period, I would wish all states would do away with those inspections. Makes me think of the high cost of electricity because of AI.
