Looks like business is open at the Border as I just encountered 4 Mexican caravans heading South.

Junkyards take cars home from auction this way.

I lived in Austin for years and can confirm southbound caravan sightings galore on 35.

Little crappy cars going south of the border. I don’t care.

Interesting. I’ve lived in Austin for 35 years and I’ve never seen or heard of this before.

Maybe but the drivers seemed to have issues with English...

Maybe but the drivers seemed to have issues with English... Half the roofers in my county have issues with English.

That right there, at any given traffic stop, should be sufficient "probable cause" to detain them and contact ICE.

I see them all the time westbound on the I-10 between Phoenix and California.

Many are older Toyota pickups.

Yep, those are 90% of what I see under tow.

They stay off the interstate. I see them often on Highway 173, Hwy. 16, Highway 83 all heading south.
I've seen them several times on 35 between Dallas and Waco/Austin. Never paid enough attention / driven often enough to say if they're picking up or slowing down.

I think you meant Hwy 183.
Have not traveled that road in 2-4 years but did so twice a month for many years. Saw lots of them. Usually a small truck towing to 2 other small trucks. The trucks would be loaded down with bicycles and stoves, washers and dryers to be repaired and sold in Mexico.

Isn’t each driver self-deporting?
