The scientific profession itself is doing fine. If you know how to read research reports and can tell the difference between real research and the pseudoscience that charlatans such as Mercola spout, you'll probably save a lot of money. Mercola doesn't sell anything that would really help with people's health, he does what he does for profit. He's worth over $100 million... about a thousand times my net worth, because I don't scam people.

I do not. I don’t have lung issues. I originally started using it for my arthritis, and still use it mostly for that. Usually 50/50 water/dmso. But it turns out it’s also great for sore muscles, etc. I tend to gravitate to more natural remedies rather than running to the doctor for a pill every time I get a sniffle or whatever. If I had a lung issues, I would probably try mullein. Little Jeremiah has a great ping list for her natural remedies.
