Totally magnificent piece of engineering. I used to live near Roanoke (back in the day) and saw it
running many excursions, and even rode on a couple. A truly handsome, streamlined steamer.

The Streamliner certainly looks great. But many would consider the U.P. articulated 4-8-8-4 Big Boys the epitome of steam - certainly in terms of weight and power.
