I say it's because he did not have Jesus.
As a side note, it amazing how quickly Quebec turned from faithful follower of the Catholic Church and Jesus Christ, to a post-modern, secular hell-hole. I don't think the process even took 15 years.
1969 can be marked as the year of Quebec (and Christian) Canada's death.
I read about a Jewish obstetrician who survived one of the death camps. She performed secret abortions there because the mothers would have been killed if they were discovered to be pregnant.
And after she was freed, she went back to delivering babies. And whenever she was attending a mother in labor, she would pray, “Dear God, you owe me a living baby.”
Some Holocaust survivors found Jesus.
It’s vey sad that this one only found Death, and condemned so many little ones to death. And he was even honored for it!
That’s right; he was dead in his trespasses and sins.
A day will surely come when preborn children are finally recognized in law as the persons they are, with the rights they already possess by virtue of being human.
I wouldn’t bank on it. This world is getting more and more rotten, every day. Yes, some good things are happening, but eventually, if the Bible is true (and I believe it is), total corruption is headed our way. My husband and I are studying The Book of Revelation, and though the author of the commentary doesn’t say so, it looks more and more to me that America is the Great Babylon of chapters 17 & 18. (Enduring Word, David Guzik. The best online Bible study tool online, IMHO.)
Other people say, "The world hurt me and I'm not going to let it hurt others."
