Thats actually a punch line from a pretty good chauvinist joke. God tells Adam that hes has come up with the answer for his loneliness and its so amazing that its beyond anything he could possibly imagine. “But its going to cost you an arm and a leg” God says. “An arm and a leg???” Adam shoots back. “Thats pretty steep! What can I get for...say...a rib?” And the rest is history.
That’s why God made dogs, to make up for women.
God made man and rested. God made woman and no one has rested since.
I read that joke to my wife—and braced for the frying pan—but to my relief she laughed out loud. You never know.
