In the UK, they think 30°C is a sweltering heat

Same with GA. We did not start cracking 90 degrees until July. Normally we start in May.

Now it hot and humid

Buy toilet paper!!!!!!

Seriously, it has been a very mild summer so far in north central Texas. People are having trouble bringing in the hay because of all of the rain.

Dallas has had above average rainfall for months and the reservoirs are all full. Nice try.

Just looked at the calendar: July 22.

Imagine that, it's very hot during the hottest month of the year. Good golly Miss Molly!

What’s funny is that all these people further north are under an extreme heat warning and it is the same temperature and humidity where I live in East Texas. Give us some love, too!

It’s hot. It’s summer. It’s the South. It happens every year.

That is the reason God created air conditioning. Our AC is running non-stop and we are mainly staying in. Hubby ventures out for a couple hours a day to work on a project, but soon comes back in to cool off and re-hydrate.

“it’s supposed to reach a high of 82 in my corner of Arizona.”

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Weather!

Tell you what... This is the coolest summer I have even seen yet in my life here in the desert southwest... It hasn’t hit over 106 where I am when 120 is normal for this time of the year... 125 used to be the norm ten years ago and previous years.

It has been trending cooler for the last ten years...

So far cooler and very pleasant summer in Central Texas.

As long as you don’t live near a river, that is.

And despite these provocative words....they can always point backwards in time where this has occurred ...but was referred to as a "storm".

I researched Cat 5 hurricanes....oh my...the list was long...it also included Cat 5s...that lasted 3 minutes, 6 minutes....etc etc...and 20 minutes later it was a Cat 3....

Uhhhhhhh. I hate to jinx myself but here in my neck of Northern Commiefornia, where it's usually well over 100 degrees pretty much every day in July, we've been enjoying 85 degree weather.

With very little humidity.

“Just looked at the calendar: July 22.”

My optimism comes from June 22 on. Every day after June 22nd is shorter than the day before. Getting shorter until December.
