A Canadian man who reported his 9-year-old daughter missing in New York has been arrested after she was found dead, authorities said Monday.
Luciano Frattolin, the father of Melina Frattolin, was charged with second-degree murder and concealing of a corpse, New York State Police spokesman Robert McConnell said.
State Police said Luciano Frattolin reported the girl missing and possibly abducted on Saturday, leading officials to issue an Amber Alert to enlist the public's help in finding her.

Can’t imagine how anyone could kill a little kid let alone his own daughter. Getting revenge on ex wife over custody dispute? Or was he sexually abusing her and afraid she was about to talk? What an evil man. Too bad NYS doesn’t have the death penalty for something like this.
Do it in America, that violent country. No one will suspect a nice canadian.

I’ve never seen anything like that before. Pulling a handle for electrocution or for a hanging, a firing squad where yours nigh my be the intentional blank round are one thing, but actually applying the garrote. Wow
I live in Washington state.
Within the last month, a psycho divorced father murdered his three young daughters on a week end camping trip to one of our rural parks.
All strangled. We can only hope they were each sleeping when he attacked.
He has disappeared. Cops have no evidence that he killed himself, or if he is still on the run.
The heart ache and the terror these psycopaths create is incomprehensible.
Today’s DailyMail said that he was due to return the girl to her mother, who had sole custody with him having visitation, at the end of his vacation, which would have been the day after she ended up dead.
Who was half Italian and half Ethiopian.
Just think...approximately 4.5% of the population in the USA are psychopathic.

Really big guy, obvious weight lifter, still young, ex-military, trained for combat and wilderness survival.
Cannot help but think that any one camping out in Washington state this summer might be taking a serious risk.
Law Enforcement and local news media have been strangely quiet.
The Seattle Times did like one front page story after the murders.
I do not pay close attention to local news. As far as I know, there is no state wide warning about this guy in any of our parks.
