People like those two not only need to be removed from ever serving in public office but from the human race as well.
This is how serial killers start.
Video showed the light of the gun, indicating a target, illuminating the side of the law enforcement officer.
That is inexcusable.
Also arrested was a duck. When questioned the duck said “this guy is less bright than that Fudd Dude. He actually took my word it was rabbit season.”
Lack of compassion and sadism is common in Law Enforcement. It is a prerequisite to be able to even do the job...
Why were these police pulled over and dealing with this rabbit? If this is a wild rabbit how did they catch it? And why would he threaten a fellow officer? Is this sort of thing what they do with their time?
“finally relented when Gomez threatened him with a stun gun”
Weakling shouldn’t have given in.
But everyone out here knows this is the way MexiThugs act.
And that’s why they shouldn’t be dressed up as police or even allowed in civilized countries.
The fact that the one deputy made the other promise he wouldn’t kill it, suggests he had some reason to believe the other deputy would kill it. To me, this suggests he’s done this kind of behavior before. I wouldn’t automatically assume someone who asked to hold a baby rabbit is going to kill it.

Why I could never be cop.
Why didn’t they just leave the thing alone?
“Oh, look! A baby bunny!”
“Sharp eyes! Neat!”
“So anyway…”
“Of course you realize, THIS MEANS WAR!”
I wonder what his immigration status really is.
It would be a real shame if someone would throw Deputy Alejandro Gomez against a wall with enough force that he’d end up like the rabbit. A real crying shame, I tell ya.
This pathetic sociopath has a long losery road ahead of him.
Jimmy Carter would approve.
Seagulls are the rats of the bird world.
It’s hard to believe those nasty, aggressive creatures are protected.
That is a cynical attitude. Even the report says that this one guy was surrounded by other non-participating cops one of whom was an animal lover.
I work with and around cops a lot and the rule is they are compassionate and reasonable. The bad cops are the exception.
Don't judge the whole by certain exceptions.
Having lived in Grant County, I’m not surprised at this story. Disgusted, but not surprised.
I don’t believe that at all.
You sound like a very bitter person.
