Reminds me of when I went to Spain in 2010. Lots of unfinished construction projects dotting the countryside. And most unlikely to ever be completed.

I remember seeing a picture of that structure from the air. It is literally connected to nothing. But on the plus side, it can certainly be used as a carport.

There are two of these along hwy 99 connected to nothing, urs a joke, the kicker is the link from Bakersfield to la goes over the mountains and will need tunnels, maybe they should have started there first.
