Gutfeld spent a lot of time on this story a few nights ago. I think he said both were married. He also thought that their mistake was to try to duck out of sight when the spotlight hit them—if they had just stood there no one would have paid attention.
I agree. They should have acted naturally. It’s the coverup that got them. It does every time.
