I would love to hear their conversation as they picked the guy up from his wreck.
I was grinding up a steep hill once, in the very wide shoulder, head down and concentrating on the grind, and ran right into the back of a parked school bus.
I was prolly only going about 10mph so no damage to me or the bike, or the bus...
Life goes on.
Honest question
Did the biker sue the cop? Seems like that happens here.
Bikes (and motorcycles) seem to be immune from all accountability.
Ha Ha! Typical biker snob. All he was thinking about was how good he looked in his skin tight spandex and how popular he was going to be at the next Pride parade.
I miss the Weekly World News.
Leaving almost no time to accelerate.
I went into a bike lane on my MC in the middle of the night when a PU whose driver flipped me a bird and yanked the wheel over at me. he moved out a bit then did it again. This time I just happened to be right up to a break in the curb and went up on the sidewalk. The truck driver didn’t want to follow me over the curb, I guess, so he put his foot to the floor and sped off.
What was the bike cyclist looking at ? These was a tow truck , a vehicle and the cop’s motorcycle with flashing lights going and this clown doesn’t see any of that ?
A lawyer probably got there first.
A few years ago on a 2 lane rural road in my pickup I came upon 3 women riding 3 abreast (no pun) which would have been ok except there was traffic oncoming so I had to wait since they wouldn't move over.
When traffic cleared I pulled up next to them and honked my sweet 18-wheeler type air horns.
I'm sure there were some stained panties going in the wash that night.
Once again I find myself outside of the loop, what is a TWOT?
“Completely unrelated, but, what ever became of the incident where the police were using concealed snipers to kill motorcycle gangsters when a meeting they were watching between two gangs got violent.”
That was in Waco I think and dragged on in the courts for years.
“When traffic cleared I pulled up next to them and honked my sweet 18-wheeler type air horns.”
I always wanted some air horns. The Spandex Mafia here in Boulder County are extremely arrogant and entitled. They do get creamed now and then hence the white bicycle monuments along the roads.
Bikers pay taxes. Keep them off the sidewalks as pedestrians are not aware of what is around them.
Roads are built for everyone. But with idjits like u around, I am mostly on bike paths.
I bet he was looking at his cell phone....
Idjit ?
I make way for cyclists of all ages and by law stay in my restricted car only lanes.
Operating an auto in traffic is a serious responsibility, bike lanes and their riders just make that more difficult.
OK, thanks for the reply. I live near bike paths that are old RR tracks and in a nice park, so I do not have to go on rods that much. In the old days (25 years ago) I would get run off the road north of my city. You had to be careful. The I word is for them, sorry, I vent sometimes. I took a safety driving class (Got caught doing 45 on a 35 MPH service road right next to a freeway, looking for a freeway entrance) and the instructor asked the reasons you think you made people mad at you when driving. He could not believe my response when I said I was riding my bike. The park near me had a friend killed by a speeding , illegal. Speed limit? 25 MPH. This illegal knocked her 200 feet backwards into the lake at the park. He made it to Mexico that day. Sorry for getting testy.
I contributed to the animosity, I apologize .
