They’re human. They have hearts. They have been propagandized against dogs.

Even though “Allah” does: “A man saw a dog eating mud from thirst. The man took a shoe with water and kept on pouring for the dog till it quenched its thirst. So Allah approved of his deed and made him to enter Paradise.”
Be nice to a dog, go to heaven. So hate dogs and mistreat them and “Allah” loves you. Islam: the “flip a coin” religion.
