When Connie waxed "Pretty Little Baby" in early 1962, it was released on a long-playing disc, but not as a single, so it wouldn't have gotten much, if any, air play over Top 40 radio stations and would not have fit into juke boxes. It became a recent hit via Tik Tok.

I'm a Connie Francis fan, but since I don't follow Tik Tok, I had also never heard that song until about 15 minutes ago, when I looked it up on Youtube.

Never heard the song or heard of it until today (just listened to it thanks to the link on this thread). It uses the word "gay" to rhyme with "day"--that was a more innocent era.

The pop song I remember from the first half of 1962 is "Duke of Earl" (which probably is nonsensical in terms of British noble titles).
