Pretty Little Baby? Give me a break. I do not remember that song ever even being played on the radio. Certainly NOT a signature song of hers.
When Connie waxed "Pretty Little Baby" in early 1962, it was released on a long-playing disc, but not as a single, so it wouldn't have gotten much, if any, air play over Top 40 radio stations and would not have fit into juke boxes. It became a recent hit via Tik Tok.
I'm a Connie Francis fan, but since I don't follow Tik Tok, I had also never heard that song until about 15 minutes ago, when I looked it up on Youtube.

...
Apparently it is/was a recent Tik Tok viral trend
So you may never heard it, but in a remarkable twist, maybe your youngest relatives have.
Why it’s a signature song of hers NOW is explained in the article.
I think that’s for most people. Except that that song in the last year took over social media so younger people know that song more than some of her songs that were hits.
NEVER heard of it. Never HEARD it
Same here, however I fondly remember "Who's Sorry Now?" "Lipstick On Your Collar" "Don't Break the Heart That Loves You" and many others
The pop song I remember from the first half of 1962 is "Duke of Earl" (which probably is nonsensical in terms of British noble titles).
