He was set up because he was a committed, pro-Life Christian. The “violations” started being committed the moment the U of Michigan faculty publicly asserted that they had to get rid of him in any way possible... and then and only then a bunch of pee-ons, not directly answerable to him, started committing a bunch of senseless violations?
At first glance, it seems natural for someone to say, “Suuuuure you didn’t ask so-and-so to do this.” But why would these cheaters only start cheating once people have made it clear that they need a reason to get rid of him?
