“You want to revoke my citizenship? go ahead and try, i’m not yours to silence i never was”

Comedian and TV host Rosie O’Donnell has dismissed a threat from Donald Trump to revoke her US citizenship.

It comes after the US president posted on Truth Social that he was considering removing her citizenship. He wrote: “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship.”

He also said she was a “threat to humanity” and said she should “remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her”, after she recently moved there.

She has since hit back on Instagram and wrote: “You are everything that is wrong with America and I’m everything you hate about what’s still right with it.

“You want to revoke my citizenship? go ahead and try, king joffrey with a tangerine spray tan i’m not yours to silence i never was.”

Speaking with RTÉ, O’Donnell later said that she was the latest in a long list of artists, activists, and celebrities to be threatened by the US president.
