I have heard that the theory that reason Satan wants to exterminate the Jews, all of them, is to prevent Scripture from being fulfilled.
Jesus is coming back some day to rule over Israel, all 12 tribes, none of which are lost to HIM.
It certainly makes sense. And the insane and irrational hatred of the Jews throughout the ages testifies to the source of that attitude and those actions.

Satan operates from a notion that if Hebrews/Jews and Gentiles adopted via spiritual adoption thru Abraham and in deed all Christians, Jewis and Gentile could be wiped out...then the Godhead loses all existential legitimacy and thus could be destroyed and all things with it. If God could be shown not to keep his promises then he could not claim to be God.
