You should be more tolerant. Nose rings are very biblical.
In Genesis 24:22, Abraham's servant is looking for a bride for Issac, and he starts by giving Rebekah a golden nose ring that weighs half a shekel and also two golden bracelets weighing 10 shekels.
The nose ring is valuable enough that it is a sure thing her nose was pierced to prevent loss of the ring. And, when she goes back to her brother Laban, he immediately notices the nose ring and the bracelets. This indicates that her nose was already pierced and she was probably wearing a nose ring of lesser quality.
Why is this true? Well, if her nose had not already been pierced, the first thing Laban would have noticed would have been the blood from her self-piercing to accommodate the very valuable nose ring...
