Viral doesn’t respond to antibiotics. However, my understanding is your odds are much better with viral as opposed to bacterial especially if it goes to pneumonia. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Either way it’s a bitchy problem.

I heard Dreyfus on TV a couple of years ago and he sounded totally reasonable. Not MAGA, of course, but not a crazy Lib either.

It had been a while for me, probably at least 20 years.
I am glad to realize this, if true. His characters always seemed to resonate with me, beginning with Jaws.
I used to think Jim Carrey was hilarious (especially in a movie like “Liar, Liar” where the premise is a lawyer who cannot tell a lie for 24 hours...but he is so far gone I can’t even watch the movie anymore. Same with Di Niro.

Mine too. Without getting into detail, that movie along with a couple from my church were very influential in my life direction (In a good way)
I was fortunate enough to attend an event where he was meeting with fans and signing. I had him autograph my copy of the movie poster. I had a tough time explaining to him how the movie affected my life w/o choking up.
The line was long and slow moving. He took time with each and every fan - which I thought was incredibly generous.

I disagree. The moment you stop moving daily is the start of the decline for people. A sedentary lifestyle is not healthy.

“It may be red coat language.”
Maybe. But didn’t we retain the proper “King’s English”?

Maybe. But didn’t we retain the proper “King’s English”?I had a teacher who once said that the pronunciation and accents Americans have is closer to the original English than what's spoken in Britain today.
Her point was that a people move from place to place, their language remains the same. When people stay in one spot, their language changes.
The proof of that is in how the English pronounce certain sounds. For example, whenever there's an 'ah' sound in the word, the brits add an 'r' sound to it.
So, Florida becomes 'Floridar,' saw becomes 'sawr', bra becomes 'brar,' wash becomes 'warsh,' etc.
They have other weird pronunciations, but these are the most obvious.

That’s true re pronunciation. The discussion had to do with proper grammar.
