Thank you very much and God bless you.
Or maybe the non-socialist at 20 had a better education than the socialist.
NEA and AFT!
I suspect it’s quite a bit of envy, too. Our culture today allows the very wealthy to flaunt it garishly, what with the yachts, jets, multiple estates, constant travel, and all the rest. It is, honestly, a bit much, and kinda tacky (in my opinion). It can make other people feel inferior, and possibly a little hopeless and desperate. The supposed equalizing effects of communism thus seem appealing as a way to feel like a more adequate human being.
Ask any of these future Socialists what job THEY will have in a Socialist USA! Will you be a bus driver? A street cleaner? An worker in a factory?
No the answer is they will have a position in MANAGING others on how to do things in their Utopia.
There is a reason PAST SOCIALISTS such as Hitler, Marx, Bernie Sanders and David Hogg have an aversion to Physical Labor, so they went into politics of telling others how it should be done! “NOW DO IT!”
Young adults have grown up in a culture that promotes victimhood instead of resilience.
Indeed it breeds laziness and expecting hand outs to many fear any job that involves getting dirty or sweating and hard work.
It’s hardly surprising as the US now has a historic level of wealth inequality. End stage capitalism results in the wealth going into fewer and fewer hands. That’s what happens when corrupt politicians do nothing to break up monopolies and embrace globalism instead. Our greedy elites have nobody to blame but themselves.
Educational system propaganda.

The first message of all collectivist polities is: free stuff. Young folks are still hurting from being kicked out of the nest, so free stuff is wanted.
What they are never told is TANSTAAFL. Someone must fund it. Actual producers must subsidize parasites — probably their parents.
This also works because young people over the last generation or two have never grown up. They have no problem with letting the government pay their bills if that’s what it takes for everything to be equal and fair, mommy and daddy always have. They all received participation trophies for just showing up. Everybody was treated “fairly” and made the team whether you were qualified or not. There were no cut lists in youth soccer. That might hurt somebody’s feelings. They’ve been raised to feel not think. To live off emotion, not reason. They have never been made to face the realities of life. Bottom line they’re still sheltered children in their 30’s or older, and easy prey for the preachers of a world where they get to stay that way at the government’s behest.
Another thing the Left has done well is to substitute the allowable freedoms. They have taken away our constitutional freedoms of speech, association and livelihood, and have encouraged the baser freedoms of sex, drugs and immoral behavior. They’ve then used those changes like the old opium dens of China to anesthetize young people to the harsh realities of life and to win the cultural war in the minds of many young people. For young people it is more acceptable to say you’re a woman in a man’s body than it is to argue that’s not right. It’s easier and more acceptable to acquire and use drugs, find continuous supplies if one-night stands or party till you drop than it is to work through the byzantine regulations to start a new business or work the long hours necessary to succeed. There was a quote in an article yesterday from a woman who had converted to Islam. She said Islam brought structure, discipline and purpose to her life. Prior to that she had been adrift in a queer world filled with partying. To me that sounds like a life of sex, drugs and rock and roll with no guard rails or direction. Very enlightening statement.
Maybe to counter the socialism argument we need to address more than just the economic fallacies. Maybe we need to grow a pair and be honest about the cesspool the country has become. Talk openly about the dangers and irrationality of the LBGTQ agenda. Go after their hold on education and the media. Be willing to talk about life not being fair but also talk about how a country built on the capitalist model offering the best chance for anyone to succeed. Start pushing back on the racism, sexism, homo/transphobia nonsense. They may not want to hear it, but maybe they need to. There isn’t some big evil whatever holding anyone back in this country. You make it or not based on how hard you’re willing to work. What are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your dreams. Are you willing to fight to be better than someone else. How badly do you want to win. Not everybody succeeds at everything. You can always find something to make your argument why someone failed. The point that they need to be made to see is that it isn’t an ‘ism’ that stops people from achieving it’s human nature and abilities. Elon Musk is a billionaire because he’s smart, eccentric and creative. LeBron James is probably close because he’s a great athlete and marketer. It’s highly doubtful they’d have the same success if they switched places.
That is the type of mindset that needs to be brought back to this country. Not everyone is equal and not everyone will have equal results. Equity is a false promise that only gets fulfilled when everyone is brought down to the lowest common denominator. And that is what socialism is really selling and that us what we have to make known. Marxist socialism has never worked in any country it was been tried in and only maintains itself at a barrel of a gun against an unarmed populace. Millions have died at the hands of those determined to make top-down government work. Teach them that. There are plenty of examples.
Why would I care what someone else has except to be happy for them? There is a whole section of people that want money but they don’t want to work. Their energy is divided between getting money and avoiding work. It’s why people fall for MLM’s.
Not true. We have a huge section of upper middle class. The few billionaires rarely get a mention unless they can be demonized or worshiped. It would shock you how many people retire with a net worth over $1M in investments
“”Marxist socialism has never worked in any country it was been tried in and only maintains itself at a barrel of a gun against an unarmed populace. Millions have died at the hands of those determined to make top-down government work. Teach them that. There are plenty of examples.””
Teach them the difference between a controlled populace (by totalitarian communists) and real freedom, and teach them how living in a communist country is no picnic, like they have it here in the USA (so far). Most of the US youth have never even talked to anyone that escaped from a communist government. They have no idea of what it’s really like and don’t get that socialism is just communism with a (fake) smiley face.
People tend to be more liberal in their younger years (I was). Only with age and experience and years of observation comes wisdom and awareness of ‘the world’ around us. The innocense was blissful. The reality not so much.
has a “journalist” asked mamdani how a $30 minimum wage
will lower costs?
You can vote your way into socialism, but you’ll have to fight your way out.
look at what Trump has had to put up with
Everybody gets a trophy and an iPhone 16🤷🏼♂️🤪🤪🤪
Because liberal girls are easy……
