Frankly, this Palestinian takeover of academia and the activist wing of the Democrat Party started and has been growing in size and radicalism since the the 1980’s
One of the strangest alliances in political history is the Jewish Left of the Democrat Party and the Palestinian Liberation Organization activists and it's Islamic terrorist allies,. They seem to have developed seem strange symbiotic relationship and radical Communist left kinship as exemplified by the recent marriage of Alex Soros to long time Muslim Brotherhood PLO activist Huma Abedin.
US based Palestinian activism got it's foothold in the Bay Area at UC Berkeley and then filtered down to Stanford. From there, it spread out all over the country.
Back in the 1990sI was in the area and saw that 1960s radical communist SDS activist and Weather Underground/ Black Panther community organizer The “Rabbi” Micheal Lerner , Hillary Clinton's much media hyped Politics of Meaning guru , was speaking at the Berkeley campus so I decided to stop by and see what this guy was all about.
When I got there I found myself in the middle of PLO sponsored Palestinian semi violent protest intended to prevent the good Rabbi from speaking and kick him off campus because he was Jewish.
Much hilarity ensued as Lerner made an impassioned plea the he was “one of them” and a committed activist. He rattled off an impressive list of radical commie street cred that amounted to confessions of acts that would have got him arrested for treason seditious behavior a few years earlier when the Cold War was still hot.
Things like inciting the violent overthrow the US government in the 1960s on behalf of the USSR, bragging about working with the Black Panthers and Weather people on criminally subversive and even outright terrorist acts, organizing communist and radical groups , committing espionage and a bunch of other stuff like that.
They were not impressed . He was a Jew and because he was a jew he had to die no matter how much a fellow radical he was. It was that simple.
Things got pretty spicy and I thought they were going to get physical with the guy and I might have to step in.
