That’s not the right way to say things at all.
Autocrats do not follow the law. Trump is absolutely acting within the law; the left-wing predecessors flouted the law.

Not to mention, to say Trump is following the precedent of Obama and Biden is to say that those two aforementioned were not autocratic when they were. Plus, Trump is reversing their bad precedent.
