No.

That’s why Deep State has taxpayers.

We’re just cash cows for Deep State.

Minnesota COVID Relief Fraud: Somali Community Involvement
Overview
Minnesota was the site of the largest COVID-19 relief fraud scheme in U.S. history, with over $250 million stolen from federal funds meant to feed low-income children during the pandemic. Many of those charged and convicted in the scheme are Somali immigrants or Somali Americans residing in Minnesota.

Scheme Details
The fraud centered on the nonprofit Feeding Our Future and associated meal sites.

Defendants submitted false claims for millions of meals never served, using fake names and forged documents.

The stolen funds were spent on luxury cars, jewelry, international travel, and real estate in the U.S. and abroad, including Kenya and Turkey.

Key Facts
Total Amount Stolen: Approximately $250 million. While the user referenced “$100 million,” the documented fraud is significantly larger, with over $250 million involved; only about $50–60 million has been recovered so far.

Somali Community Involvement: Many of those indicted and convicted are Somali immigrants or Somali Americans, including nonprofit operators, restaurant owners, and business associates.

Number of Defendants: Over 70 individuals have been charged, with at least 18 guilty pleas and multiple convictions in federal court.

Convictions: Five out of seven defendants in the first major trial— all Somali Minnesotans—were found guilty of wire fraud and money laundering in June 2024.

Notable Incidents
The trial was marred by an attempted jury bribe, with a Somali woman delivering $120,000 in cash to a juror’s home, leading to the juror’s dismissal and the sequestering of the remaining jury.

The fraud exploited relaxed federal oversight during the pandemic, and the Minnesota Department of Education was criticized for failing to prevent the theft.
