Cracks in the Foundation: Collapse of Classical Liberal Vales

Classical liberalism began, scholars say, with the Magna Carta in 1215, which sowed the seeds of principles like religious liberty and the rule of law. These concepts matured under the English Bill of Rights and John Locke’s “Second Treatise on Civil Government.” But many believe classical liberalism found its purest expression in the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

These foundational philosophies helped establish stable democracies throughout the Western world. But before long, cracks began to appear. Modern liberalism crept in to distort the bedrock ideals. Modern conservatism is attempting to preserve them. But so far, it’s an uphill battle. What does that mean for the future of Western civilization?

That’s the central question for a group of conservatives who have banded together as the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC). Earlier this year, they held a conference in London to discuss strategies for renewing classical liberalism—making the West great again, some might say.

ARC calls itself an “international movement with a vision for a better world where empowered citizens take responsibility and work together to bring flourishing and prosperity to their families, communities, and nations.”

Think of it as the antidote to globalism. If the World Economic Forum brings together world business and political leaders to promote top-down economic, political, and environmental policies that include the Great Reset and transhumanism, ARC seeks to be an alternative that offers a positive view of humanity and solutions from the bottom up.

Our Republic would be replaced by Cultural Marxism. The process is well underway, and few notice any difference and/or when asked they prefer the latter.

Karl Marx says, “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle”. This view is limited to what can be observed, measured, or computed. Everything exists within the bounds of infinity. Humanity exists as swarms identified to be segregated, dominated, and/or irradicated. There is no perception or acknowledgement of eternity. The adherents to this philosophy must regard pseudo-economics and pseudo-science as a doxology; a liturgical expression of praise to their god. It must be continually repeated by those adhering to the faith of Social Marxism in order to retain the veneer of rationalism over a fundamentally irrational worldview.

The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. In this expression, the Creator reaches into our world from eternity to endow individual humans with inestimable value. We saw at the Constitutional Convention an understanding that true compassion, true leadership arises from understanding how very few individuals cannot create, encourage, explore, restore, repair, analyze, develop, build, and nurture as they exercise their intangible natural liberties. This vision was translated into our Constitution, which relies upon fallible individuals to both lead and reside within governments and private institutions committed to promoting human spirituality and rejecting the fiction of infallible human elites determining actions.

I like to focus on the rights of the individual, because it is nearly unique. “We” took all this for granted, as if the traditions and laws are set in stone and unchanging.

Now, you’ll never hear a leftist talking about individual rights. They are careful to couch it in “human rights”, which sort of looks close if you squint. But there’s a catch. You have to be part of a group in order to receive and enjoy those rights. That’s how we get an assclown like Biden saying things like “If you don’t vote for me, you’re not really black”. That’s easily one of the most offensive things I’ve ever heard a politician say, at one level.

The right to a presumption of innocence. Yet another right we take for granted. In most countries, you are presumed guilty until you prove your innocence. The Napoleonic code is similar. The right to face one’s accuser.

Note well our universities have been used as “proving grounds” to upend these bedrock principles. You get accused, you get expelled. No rights of the individual. No lawyer allowed. No right to face accuser.

We saw this retarded infantile mind set writ large on display during the Judge Kavanaugh hearings. “He’s been credibly accused” is all it takes in their minds. He needs to withdraw. And these are fvcking lawyers, in many cases, on the TV or halls of congress espousing this philosophy.

right now the foundations of western civilization are rubble pile to the extent that they undergirded most of the institutions of america.

the country does not go to ruin because there is a fair number of people outside the cities who do not play the elite games.
