The jury in Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial has reached a verdict on four of five charges after about 12 hours of deliberation - but are stuck on a single count.
At 4.05pm on Tuesday, barely 12 hours after they began deliberating the eight weeks of evidence, the jury sent Judge Arun Subramanian a note to say they could not reach a verdict on racketeering conspiracy - the first and most controversial charge.
The charge applies to the notion that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise, aided by staff, to entrap and abuse women. The jurors cannot agree on whether or not it sticks, with jurors on both sides telling the court they are 'unpersuadable'.
They have reached a verdict on the four other charges - sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution. Those four charges relate specifically to two women - Cassie Ventura and another ex-girlfriend, who used the pseudonym 'Jane' throughout.
The disgraced music mogul, 55, could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.
After a tense hearing on Tuesday, the judge ordered the jury back into deliberations to reach a verdict on Count 1.
A tense-looking Diddy was surrounded by lawyers, with his children and mother watching nearby.

I never got over the OJ verdict. I hold back but I never got over it. I’m not good about the forgiveness stuff.
Could the media please start referring to this dirtbag by his legal name—Sean Combs—since I presume this how he has been charged and how he will be convicted and sentenced?
What are they waiting for? An engraved invitation?
Come on people-who cares? This is what they do.

Nobody caught on video on Epstein Island has ever been charged, and the government (including the current one) keeps the names secret.
So I just do not care what happens here.
Not reaching agreement on the most serious charge is a pretty good indicator that they’ve determined guilty on the others.
Predictions as to how you think they found on the agreed upon 4counts? I honestly have no idea.

I hear you.
I don’t understand the jury process in that. Okay you are to be tried by a “jury of your peers” so why were there not 12 people from Brentwood on that jury?
Or better yet 12 current and former NFL Running backs? Those are his peers and they would have found him guilty in less than ten minutes.
Sorry, girls. Nothing's changed since the days Lot when he offered up his daughters up to be raped.
luck of the draw.
Yes and the Trump jurors should have looked like Judge Smails
instead of the open audition for extras in a remake of Barbershop. Not peers.
Quick verdicts are in my observation acquittals. I would like to believe the evidence is so slam dunk its guilty but i have a nagging feeling he gets off. No pun intended
“He said: ‘ He Gets Off’!!”
Lol.
My Beavis & Bthd Moment.
I’ve lost so much faith in the justice system that I can’t believe the defense wasn’t brilliant at picking a jury where there would be at least one person holding out for acquittal. Would love to see him spend a lot of time in prison, but I’ll be grateful they kept him cooped up until the trial, at least.
Thank you for your insight.
According to the jury note there are jurors “on both sides” who are ‘unpersuadable’as to count one. That means at least some think he’s guilty on that count. Ellie Honig believes it hardly fathomable for those jurors to find him guilty of racketeering but not guilty of the other counts. If this is true then logically the verdict on counts two to whatever has to be guilty. Otherwise the jury would be hung on those counts as well.
