I live out in the sticks and my (somewhat many) Amazon packages are delivered by USPS. They do not show delivered until they are at my house. The USPS delivery person has a device with which they scan the item and it shows delivered on the Amazon website within a few minutes. It never shows delivered until it gets to me. I also get my items within 3 days of order.
Rather, IIRC, the package is marked as delivered when loaded in the final delivery truck.
