Hope you are feeling better.

I used to love the heat...the hotter the better...not so much anymore.
summer of 1995 in chicago was a booger.
https://chicago.suntimes.com/2016/8/30/18354264/a-look-back-at-chicago-s-deadly-1995-heat-wave

41 unclaimed in the city morgue.
I always wondered why they didn’t draw cool\cold baths and sit in the tub awhile...

We didn’t have AC in this house back then. I tried a combo of window a/c units and fans and the heat overwhelmed them.
This is where my daughter jumped up and screamed, “Go buy central a/c and figure out how to pay for it later”.
Too funny. But we eventually did.

In the meantime, I made GROK throw up by catching it in a bunch of stats conflicts on that particular heat wave...

stay safe, kiddo.

Thank you... the older one gets, harder to handle heat. I never liked it... Unless the ocean is nearby. :-D I remember my mother having us put our feet and hands in basins of cold water. Helped. I didn’t know there was such a thing as A/C growing up!
