The point was that he is keeping his major stated promises which were listed and that releasing the Epstein files was not one of them.

That's the perfect post for my world view right now. It helps to crystalize part of my thought processes into a statement or two. I'm going to think about it a day or two before I take a stab at putting on paper (pixel) why I think the Deep State is getting so far and really running with this (harnessing public opinion to their Deep State purposes). But here's my first draft attempt.
It's as though the public has normalcy bias. Trump is keeping society pressures calm enough that people have decompressed out of 'Dark Brandon' mode to then focus on peacetime activities even though we're in the middle of the war for humanity. The Deep State is very much alive and trying to destroy us, and portions of the public's interest have been redirected to develop a sense that President Trump is somehow betraying them, even as he takes persecution and assasination attempts and is WINNING like no one else in history.
The list you posted further focuses my instincts into ideas - I'm amazed at the amount of discontent was cultivated so quickly when the Butler assassination attempt was 1 year ago. The timing is perfect for Deep State purposes - at the time in (world) history which we need to be most unified, our enemies are driving optics and public opinion to question, doubt and/or reject the only one who has proven for 8+ years that he can lead us through the next phase (RussiaGate and 2020 election theft battles) intact as a nation.
We are at war, yet some are making statements that imply they will strip Trump of their support unless he takes strategic direction from critics. Trump is not running for office in 2028, so such threats imply deligitimizing him as a sitting president.
All of our enemies world-wide want Trump dead, but the Deep State is still able to cultivate distrust of him among some in otherwise solid support arenas - they are smearing his strength, his capacity as an executive, his integrity etc. President Trump has never had the luxury of looking into the camera and state what he knows about The Storm (classified, strategic intel) He's held back information to protect peace and strategy for 8 punishing years, but suddenly withholding sensitive or classified information from us is, in some circles, deemed 'unacceptable'. The phrasing 'unacceptable' and other terms implies refusal of his leadership, just as we approach the exposure of the 2020 elections. How convenient.
