Thank you very much and God bless you.
Seen partial rainbows many times. first time I have seen a full rainbow in probably 30 years.
Discuss and flame away.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and [Noah and] every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.Genesis 9:16.
For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. In a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on you, says the Lord your Redeemer.Isaiah 54:7-10.For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says the Lord that hath mercy on you.
We had a double rainbow here last season, true natural wonder.
These are good concepts to reflect upon (upon which to reflect). Thanks.
A rainbow is a veritable arc of the covenant.
In the Biblical Scriptures, the rainbow is associated with theophanies - visible manifestations of the glory of God Most High, God our Creator.
Ezekiel chapter 1
26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it...
28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
Revelation chapter 4 - (In the Throne Room of Heaven)
1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in Heaven...
2 ... and behold, a throne set in Heaven, and One sat on the throne.
3 ... and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
