My knee jerk reaction is “but of course”. However, a deeper exploration may suggest a bit of nuance here to achieve a particular worthwhile goal as part of a larger plan. I’ll take a wait and see while I look under the couch cushions for 8 cents (my share of the $30 mil)
Rand needs to get his pal Thomas Massie in the House to produce a Bill to remove this funding permanently. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be done? Since the House creates the spending Bills, perhaps instead of just talking about it to get his face on the news, he can get like-minded cohorts in the House to do something about it.
