Agree.
So that means she enabled violent criminals to find new victims to kill. Like the judges who are soft on crime do.
And people who needed to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights were curtailed by her legislative “crusades.”
We’ll never know how many were disarmed by such restrictions as she championed.

We got saddled with her because Dan Frisa had the audacity to primary, and beat David Levy, the annointed R candidate. In the next election, Frisa faced McCarthy with no party support, and lost.
Come to think of it, that's pretty common in NY for the Republican Party to cede elections to the democrats, and they'll do it again in NYC and hopefully not again in the governor's race. "Sliwa can't win- gotta support Adams!" Ugh.

Her husband was a passenger killed, and her son injured on the train the massacre took place. She’d been a Republican prior to that. She allowed stupidity to creep in during her mourning, and blamed the gun instead of the perp.
