@RandPaul
Since the Senate Parliamentarian struck down a bunch of things in the reconciliation bill, it's been a blood bath. Already anemic spending cuts have gotten even worse because they're being excluded from the bill.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Leave it to the Senate to always eff things up.
They should rename it the “Pedo Legalization Bill” so that the Dims would automatically support it.
Did Kid Rand stomp his feet and hold his breath to get his way yet?
Rand Paul still out ahead helping the democrats, as usual, at this point. He might as well announce the party switch now.
He needs to make a lot of noise to distract from foolish comments about the bombing. OTOH, he’s right and Trump agrees, as in getting green new deal scam out of it.
This is the result of not holding hearings and not voting on stuff as normal.
I think RandFan is Rand Paul.
Who else would be a Rand fan?
Nobody!
The reconciliation approach is not working and apparently will not work.
Try to pass a bill the normal way.
How many Democrats will vote to refuse to continue the Trump personal income tax cuts?
“People should not be allowed to use food stamps (EBT) to purchase sugary drinks like Coke and Pepsi,” said Rep. Massie.
“Libertarian arguments about choice do not apply here. The money being used for EBT was extracted from taxpayers who have no choice in whether to give up their money.”
“To promote healthy eating and protect future generations from disease—and to ensure SNAP fulfills its core function—we need a change. Thank you to [US Department of Agriculture] Secretary Rollins and her team for helping make that change happen.”
“The waiver allows Iowa to align SNAP allowable purchases with the list of foods that are non-taxable under Iowa law. Using the non-taxable foods list is a clear-cut, common-sense way to implement the new guidelines.”
“The waiver will go into effect on January 1, 2026.”
“To make a true dent in the national debt, [Sen. Rand] Paul said he wants to see the federal portion of Medicaid costs further reduced to an even split with states.”
That could be done 1% per year for standard Medicaid and 2% for Medicaid expansion.
The BBB would increase deficit spending by about $400 billion per year in the next three years:

“A lot of Republicans, Trump included, are now demanding that we keep all of the Medicaid bloat brought on by Obamacare,” he replied. “Then you have the military industrial complex that wants its fingers in the pie. Well, if you do that, someone has to pay for it and you can’t have tax cuts.”
The parliamentarian’s advice is just that. The Senate majority can choose to override it if they the have the will.
Act 4 delves into a $298,160 two-year project to
connect established American women filmmakers
from New York Women in Film
and Television (NYWIFT) to filmmakers in
Jordan and advise them as they develop and
produce new documentaries and web series.
Who needs to address the rising cost of groceries
when the federal government can drop nearly 300
grand to produce niche content in a foreign
country that will be viewed by...well, who knows?
The final act is America’s real box office bomb—
$435,575 of your tax dollars spent to “increase the
appeal of Jordan’s film industry.”

Since 2019,
$1,513,299 worth of taxpayer money has been
going to these medieval-type experiments.
This is not some distant, dystopian future; it’s
happening right now at the University of
Pittsburgh, courtesy of a grant from the NIH.
In these nightmarish experiments, female kittens
are the preferred victims, selected because they
are supposedly more “amenable” to the
relentless, inhumane treatment they’re subjected
to. These kittens, often just four to six months
old, are first trained to endure long periods of
restraint. They’re kept tied down for hours at a
time and for weeks on end. The goal? To force
them into submission so that they no longer
resist the torture that awaits them.
Once sufficiently “trained,” these kittens are
strapped to a hydraulic table that tilts and
spins them in all directions—side to side, up
and down, and a full 360 degrees, sometimes
completing an entire rotation in just five
seconds, all in a gruesome effort to induce
severe motion sickness.

He’s made it clear that he’s going to vote no on the budget bill, unless he gets what he wants.
Which was cuts to the debt ceiling....
then more spending cuts...
then halvingh the budget towards building the border wall and border security....
