Six B-2 stealth bombers from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri appear to be en route to a U.S. Air Force base in Guam, according to flight tracking data and voice communications with air traffic control.
The bombers apparently refueled after launching from Missouri, suggesting they launched without full fuel tanks due to a heavy onboard payload, which could be bunker-buster bombs.
The B-2 can carry two 15-ton bunker-buster bombs—which only the U.S. possesses. Experts say the bombs could be critical to targeting Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear site: Fordow.

Over the Pacific. On the way to Diego Garcia
Plan must include spec ops going in to verify centrifuge gallery is destroyed.
remember they already have B-52’s on Diego Garcia!!
Word has it they are Diego Garcia bound, not Guam.
That’s just my wild guess from how planes burn fuel and how SAC behaved back in the day. Once they scrambled and got to altitude, they all hit the tankers to start off with a full belly of fuel.
And just my personal opinion, we are beefing up Guam because we sent the Nimitz our of the western Pacific in a hurry.
That’s why the visibility. But who knows?
Tell your Tucker to tell your mom to tell you to tell Khamenei to tell Trump to tell Netanyahu to tell Little Zee to tell the Putin that he surrenders.
UK has not ceded Diego Garcia yet, and its only 2,860 miles from Tehran.
Do they need to refuel from Diago to Iran ?
I agree that force may have to applied if diplomacy fails, particularly when dealing with irrational entities. However, the ideal weapons of deterrence never get used. IMO, it is not necessarily a waste of money to invest in a weapon system that doesn't get used because it was not needed. I don't know if shanover was actually saying that but I think it could have inferred from his post.
Yeah Fox said Guam bound but they tanked up again over Hawaii before the transponders went off so they got fuel to go past Guam now. With full 60,000lb load. Empty B2 s wouldn’t need fuel right after takeoff, again just off California coast and again past Hawaii. They are Heavy’s at this point this is the probably the strike.
Look at the day night terminator they are flying into it at 500mph as it approaches them at 1000mph it just got dark in Iran if they tank again over the Indian Ocean and swing past India it’s a straight shot to Iran and it will be plenty dark still by the time they get on station. They egress in the dawn and tank up in daylight over the Indian Ocean in the way BACK To Diego if they land at all. Those pilots are trained for 30 hour round trip flights. That’s how pretty much every other B2 strike has been flown.

Turn on the daylight terminator.
Oh, damn…I’m stealing that. 😂🤣
They have to pull evidence out of there to show the world.
Thanks for the link. I think you’re right. This is probably it.
I can’t find the daylight terminator.
... are Americans!

Un-American! In stark contrast, there's nothing the least bit subtle about the quintessential American -- he's the bull in the China shop that the world's dime-a-dozen, sin-sniffing Can't-Do people love to hate.
Well, that is until they need a mighty rescue.

Now, all I actually can do as the situation plays out on the world stage, is to watch from the comfort of home and make comments, which in turn puts me at risk for attracting scolds because wrongthink.
I've learned over the course of my life (it took a while) that the scold mentality is never satiated. I've accomplished infinitely more by playing than I ever did by falling in line.
“Do they need to refuel from Diago to Iran ?”
It’s like 2200 miles from.Diego to the target so 4400 round trip and they will be empty coming home. Given the tanker distance tempo as that cross the Pacific they would tank in the inbound leg as they leave Diego , hit the target and not need to tank on the way back if they land at Diego ,which why their mission is done. Tank over the Indian Ocean and head back to Missouri the tanker bridge is already in place for both ways round trip and the pilots train for 30 hour round the world flights.
It just doesn’t make sense to fly all that way land with 60,000pbs of payload on the gears inside MIRV missile range and also inside maneuvering hypersonic reentry glider range which has been getting past our Patriot and Iron Dome. It only takes one or two to cost us multiple 2+ billion dollar aircraft that are irreplaceable. No there is no reason to land them at all. All the talk about 2 weeks and phone calls is stalling this should be the strike don’t risk landing those irreplaceable aircraft inside missile range when they have thousands of IRBMs left.
Bottom left corner layers button, open that turn on night boundary.
Thanks.
