It’s the Feds responsibility to enforce the Constitution.

I always said they should enforce 2A this way against the states.

“Shall not be infringed” is pretty clear and US Constitution has supremacy.

Even though some states put their own version of 2A, they only did so under the presumption that ultimately it’d be the Feds violating that principle so they added it as a kind of additional guarantee.

I believe the “right” which “shall not be infringed” is not as clear and is seldom discussed.
