Jack Reacher linked up with a former U.S. president in the City of Brotherly Love.
Joe Biden accidentally crashed the set of Reacher on his way to breakfast Monday in Philadelphia, inadvertently strolling onto the premises as crew members filmed a police chase scene for the fourth season of the Prime Video thriller.
A bystander told CBS Philadelphia he was watching the crew shoot the scene when black SUVs pulled up. "Out walked these men that I thought were actors, but then the entire cast and crew started clapping and cheering," the bystander said. "Then someone said, 'We love you, Joe. We love you!'"
Biden dined at Parc, a bistro on 18th Street, with wife Jill and son Hunter. The bystander recounted the former POTUS waving to the crowd, shaking hands with the cast and crew, and posing for selfies with residents after he finished his meal.
A representative for the 45th president confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the meetup was not planned.
Reacher leading man Alan Ritchson also met the Bidens, as documented in an Instagram post shared early Tuesday. "So our Reacher set got in the way of these legends," Ritchson wrote alongside a carousel of clips and photos, calling it "a privilege and honor to meet the Biden family."
"They couldn't have been more lovely. Kind, joyful, gracious and present," he said. "We chatted briefly about simple stuff, like string theory and quantum entanglement. Then Joe beat me at arm wrestling. All in a day's work."

Biden thought he was on the set of “Leave it to Beaver.” He wanted to meet Eddie Haskell.
Show sucks
Trying to drum up support for the show since the lead actor revealed his TDS.
This series should have been red meat to the right but the lead actor came out as a doofus
I watch an episode of Beaver every night on the RooKoo. Quality entertainment.
Th reporter needs to revise the story. Biden was the 46th President.
Also, I doubt that it wasn’t preplanned. Staging a mock police chase and just so happen to let in the Biden convoy on set? can you imagine the liability if there had been an accident?
That’s the problem with so many actors and actresses, they do a good job, but they have little intellect or common sense between their ears.
I fully agree with the statement that is attributed to Sir Anthony Hopkins:
“I don’t know why anyone would listen to celebrities. Outside of their craft, they know next to nothing about science, politics, economics, foreign affairs or current events. We’re all a bunch of talented idiots.”
He wasn’t talking directly about Alan Ritchson, but he could have been.
It strikes me that multiple seasons of Reacher suffer from the same thing that happened to Childs’ books: after the first 5 or so, it’s pretty formulaic.
Enjoyed the first 3 or 4 Reacher books but about the 5th one the formula was too apparent. The first season was pretty good until the formula started to show through. Ritcheson was a far petter Reacher than Tom Cruise but only if you knew the books. I find it harder to separate the actor from the role these days but I still try.
Does “Reacher” hunt down pedos?
“I really liked the first season. The last one was “ok”, but that’s about it”
We watched the first two seasons, it was just OK, the fight scenes were less believable than a Wrestling match. Then Alan Ritchson opened his libertard pie hole before last years election and he was done in this household. I told the wife I won’t watch Season 3 which came out in Feb. and so far that has been the case for the both of us.
No surprise the Cast and Crew cheered for that corrupt piece of garbage as that is what they are as well.
Season 3 was putrid!
I quit watching mid way thru the 2nd hour...

Alan Ritchson has the acting ability of dead toad.

I could seriously vomit.
There were three so far. 😉
I’ve gotten to where I fast forward through the “fight scenes” in all movies. I don’t care about the fight. I only care who won, and then I want to get on with the story/plot.
I do the same with sex scenes, unless there is important dialogue, which is rare.
