They were sexy for their time, but horribly unreliable (E-Type). One of my good friends had one for a time, but had to sleep with the windows in his apartment open because when the temp and humidity were just right it would start itself. That and a myriad of other electrical problems were enough to part with it.

This incident took place in the ‘80’s in my mom’s ‘82 corvette after a big concert. Two adult males and three females. I was fourteen, lol.
Yes, alcohol was involved.An incredible moment of stupidity:)
