I’d love to see blog pimpers donate at least $10 for every time they post their clickbait. Jim wouldn’t have to beg for contributions so much then.

Some of the blog pimps would go bankrupt if they had to pony up 10 bucks every time they excerpt their own articles. The whole reason they post here is because nobody sees them and they don’t get any clicks at all. Even posting on FR can’t dig them out of their holes.

Using Free Republic to pimp your own blog, YouTube channel, website, etc., seems to be a growing trend of late. Calling them out on it usually results in a snide response and ridicule.

In addition to these attention whores, I am near certain that we have paid “influencers” who use FR to steer us to certain websites, blogs, and X accounts
