I was mostly referring to twitter but have you seen the abuse I’ve had last few days?

My suggestion? Respond to posters who engage with facts, data and reasonable discussion. And reasonable discussion can be adamant disagreement.

Ignore OTHERS. As in don't respond. Period

I have a piece of software that a college student wrote for me that automates the task in threads when I use Firefox, but before that I just ignored posters that were picking arguments or threatened others physically, sexually, made racist comments, etc.

Ignore them - they're not worth it.

We may not have a choice. One lucky hit that sinks a US Navy ship, sending the full crew to the bottom would do it.
