Russia warns US not to help Israel militarily against Iran

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned on Wednesday that direct U.S. military assistance to Israel could radically destabilise the situation in the Middle East, where an air war between Iran and Israel has raged for six days.

In separate comments, the head of Russia's SVR foreign intelligence service, Sergei Naryshkin, was quoted as saying that the situation between Iran and Israel was now critical.

Ryabkov warned the U.S. against direct military assistance to Israel or even considering such "speculative options," according to Russia's Interfax news agency.

Beware the donkey trains. Where the heck is PETA anyway? Don’t they have a chapter in Stalingrad?

“It takes a B2.”

Actually, NO. Israel has total control of airspace over Iran. Late version of B-52 can handle heavy-bunker buster high altitude guided bombs. Gravity is a powerful tool.

The B-1 (B-one) (and B-1B) can deliver heavy payloads too.

There are other options.

From what I’ve seen the destruction of the plant at the underground bunker near Levezan has other options than just straight down.

I’ve read that some boots on the ground at the entry would be more effective. Charges placed behind the entry and sealed, Kaboom Flash. Also, there must be a ventilation method inside the mountain that would allow sucking the oxygen out.

“where an air war between Iran and Israel has raged for six days”

And Russia and Ukraine had raged for over 2 years, with NATO support.

Did you read your own reference? The GBU-57 is not listed.

Only the B-2 can deliver it.

Or what, Russia is going to rush the delivery of S-300s, 400s and 500s to Iran? Aside from the fact that they can’t exactly do that, the logistics are impossible in any reasonable timeframe, even during peace time, those missiles have proven to be singularly ineffective and easy to destroy. Oh, yeah, and the Russians need every bit of hardware they can get to avoid losing to a nation, one quarter their size.

The bunker buster bombs will not be nukes.

They will be conventional. President Trump has made that totally clear.

Curious how the Russians stayed quiet until now. Are they trying to buy Iran some time while a.new attack plan is prepared? I sense that something big and unexpected is coming soon against Israel, and the MAGA turncoats are not helping our resolve.

Sod off, Russia.

You have no say here.

I don’t want us to get (directly) militarily involved in this, but it’s certainly not Russia’s call.

Russia needs to mind their own business. They have enough on their plate right now.

“And Russia and Ukraine had raged for over 2 years, with NATO support.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No.

Let’s set the record straight.

Russia didn’t just “rage” for two years. It invaded Ukraine in 2014, illegally annexed Crimea, and fueled a brutal war in Donbas for eight years before launching a full-scale invasion in 2022. This isn’t a conflict that suddenly started—it’s been a decade of aggression, occupation, and war crimes.

Today, Russia’s war machine is powered by a dangerous coalition of authoritarian regimes:

– Communist North Korean troops and artillery,
– Drones and missiles by ultra Islamic Iran,
– and financial, technological, and diplomatic support from Communist China.

Ukraine, in contrast, is fighting for its existence, not expansion. Western support is significant — but limited and cautious. It pales in comparison to the scale and consistency of the aid pouring into Russia from its “Islamo-commie” allies.

So let’s not distort the narrative: this isn’t East vs. West — this is a sovereign democracy defending itself against a genocidal empire propped up by Communist and Islamic dictators and terrorists.

GBU-57 is not a nuke and it only fits the B-2.

What you are sensing is Ezekiel 38 and 39 soon coming to pass.

It does not end well for Russia and its allies; they get fried courtesy of Almighty God Who tends to get somewhat angry at those who monkey with His people.

I know what the record is.

Have no interest in arguing who are the good guys.

There are none.

Trump (9:34 AM): I spoke with Putin yesterday and he told me he was willing to mediate between Iran and Israel.
I told him: “You will deal with Ukraine.”

Trump (9:34 AM): I gave the Iranians an ultimatum.

Q (9:36 AM): Did you give the Iranians an ultimatum?
Trump: Uhhhhh, you could say so. Maybe… the ultimate ultimatum.

“According to the manufacturer, the B-2 can carry a payload of 40,000 pounds (18,000 kilograms) but the US Air Force has said it has successfully tested the B-2 loaded with two GBU-57 A/B bunker busters — a total weight of some 60,000 pounds (27,200 kilograms).”

“The strategic long-range heavy bomber has a range of about 7,000 miles (11,000 kilometers) without refueling and 11,500 miles (18,500 kilometers) with one refueling, and can reach any point in the world within hours, according to Northrop Grumman.”

I suspect it was possible for another heavy bomber (B-52?) could be configured to deliver one, it would take 2 or 3 shots down the same hole to penetrate what looks like 4 stories underground. (Concrete and Earth)

The hold up with that is hanging on a Nuclear control agreement signed with other nations who had Nukes.

I am fully aware of Iran's history of deep earth tunneling.

Inception in Ancient Persia

The qanat system began in Persia around 3,000 years ago. It was an ingenious way to provide water in dry lands by using underground tunnels. These tunnels tapped into underground aquifers, bringing water to the surface.
