See 18.
I specifically said that I don’t have a problem with ethno-states. The states that you mention are not ethno-states because they don’t have different laws for different ethnicities.
Here are some examples of laws or regulations in Israel that make them an ethno-state....
The law of return.
The “Basic Law” which specifically says the national self-determination in Israel is “unique to the Jewish People”
The Citizen and Entry into Israel Law prohibits muslims from Gaza and the West Bank who marry Israelis from gaining residency.
The Jewish National Fund which manages land for the Israeli Land Authority prioritizes land for Jews.
These are just some examples.
Japan does not call itself a “Japanese state”. Israel does call itself a “Jewish state”.
Again, I am not saying they are “mean” or “bad” for doing these things. I wish I had a country that would do them for me. I am only saying they are not a democracy.
You are lying again.. This is false:
“The states that you mention are not ethno-states because they don’t have different laws for different ethnicities.”
Israel does not have different laws for different ethnicities. Non-jews have full rights. Arabs have full rights. Christaibs have full rights.
